Last summer I got hooked again. I've become a chain smoker. Never thought I would.

I smoke at this very moment in time, but I've made an absolute resolution I will not smoke when I leave university. Though, I worry that in order to not smoke I will need to start scorning cigarettes, and people who smoke- like them non smoking types. I really really hope I don't become one of those militant non-smokers. I respect these guys don't smoke, but I fucking hate it if they're preachy about it. It's totally impossible to conceive of an addiction until you have one, and as with drugs and stuff, surely the opinion of someone who's never taken said substance will be the one I value least? Whats more, I find it highly offensive when militant non-smokers accuse me of being weak-willed, when i've been offered and declined Heroin on several occasions.

im not a chain smoker but i've observed that even 4-5 a day will fuck me up-- phlegm, stench, stained fingers, burned clothes, and the slippery slope of going from 5 to 10 to a pack a day. plus the worst part is the anxiety of not having a cigarette when you want one. holy fuck, that's the horrible part.

hm yeah ive loved tobacco and it was a bitch mistress, but she was great in teh sack.
