Any fans of this Lamont “Bim” Thomas' project? I've been hooked on his music for a while and it gets better and better with every new release.

almost went to see him play in Amsterdam last Saturday. But I just didn't feel like sitting in the car for three hours for a one hour show (and apparently no support act) of a band I didn't know. Sounds like fun music though
edit: delicious cover of Ohio

Yep, big fan here.
Saw him last week in Rotterdam and it was really awesome. By the end of the show people were hanging from the ceiling. Made me regret I didn't go catch them in Utrecht as well... or even Amsterdam, although the Paradiso sucks for their kinda gig and one of his bandmates told me they got a bit of a lame response there. Hard to pick a favourite release, most of it is pretty damn good... not to mention it's difficult to keep up with the pace at which he's bringing stuff out. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ChMYdEn-5A https://soundcloud.com/xjamarkleyx/obnox-marcy-mays https://soundcloud.com/ma-111/obnox-...de-im-bleeding https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2_UDEvcq07I https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NSf3yv1-m9Y |

Planning on seeing 'em next week. Haven't heard them but I like the Bassholes quite a bit. Expectations are high!

Both bands were great. If they had played on a weekend the crowd would have gone mad, smashed up Cafe Oto and took to the streets.
