I remember reading on this board about someone seeing him play like a 3 hour set in the states in the past year. Or maybe that was my imagination. But either way, i'd die for that.

What an odd and talented musician he was.I love the story of him arriving at a VU rehearsel 1/2 an hour late and making up for that by playing for that long a time after all the others finished.
