For Free!!!!, i can't even drive yet.
My aunt is moving to Jersey and is giving me her car, its not a great car, it's an old Rover, it works though. And it passed it's MOT last month so i know it's fine to drive. This means i will have to get a previsional license and do some lessons, at least until i am good enough to have my mum or grandfather take me out and teach me the rest. It's expensive i know, but I'm hoping my dad will pay for the majority of the insurance. I'm pretty excited!, i get it in May! This got me thinking?, what do you guys drive? do you drive?, how hard is it to learn?, did you pass yr test the first time? What do Thurston/Kim/Lee and Steve drive?? |

Congratulations screamingskull!
I haven't taken the test yet but I practice a lot with the car that or dad bought us to practice with. You'll have a great time learning I swear. Driving a car isn't hard but dealing with all the rules and learning how to drive on a busy street however is quite hard. Anyway I hope you'll have a lot of fun with your new car.

That's great. A whole new world is about to open up to you! Once you get over the initial fear and get into the swing of things, driving is a piece of cake. You'll be whizzing up and down the M40 before you know it!
I drive a VW Polo. And it took me three goes to pass my test. I'm sure I read somewhere that Thurston drives a Volvo estate. Is anyone willing to back me up on that one? |

You'll be amazed, screamingskull, at how quickly you stop worrying about all the things that you have to do to drive a car and start worrying about how little effort it actually takes. It doesn't take time long for the time to come when driving a car becomes a process of getting in and making sure it's always pointing in the right direction. Your feet will do their stuff instinctively, as will the hand that you use for changing gear.

I've already told you this! remember the conversation about how you should NOT try to sneak into Wayne's backyard due to dragondog?? I do! then again, I have a pornographic memory. it's mostly random trash, but sometimes there's a plot. and yeah....I guess you could say I've seen the Lips a few times.... |

i love to drive on empty country roads a fast car with a stick shift. on sunny days. with the sunroof open. and melt-banana on the stereo. i detest traffic especially with stupid people on the road, fucks who can't get their hands off their faces while driving (get a bluetooth phone or a headset, or use the speakerphone, you fucking fuck). i dislike automatic trasmissions. |

where i live they use to use camels as transport, but the thing with camels is when they turn around they have to do a big 180 so they made the roads really wide, so we have single lane roads the size of 4 lane roads.
