If given the choice, would you choose to visit Italy or Greece?
my vote for "UK" was shot down with "too pubby" (the boy is going this time). inb4 the Griswolds and pictures of cheese. |

yes, but Greece produced Nefeli. that has to count for something!
I'm leaning towards Italy too. I want to jump inside Vesuvius. ps: I have not forgotten you <--------- |

I prefer Greek food but Italy has larger ruins.
But everyone goes to fucking Italy and Greece is in financial turmoil. I would go to Greece, personally, but Italy is probably the safer bet. |

from my text messages:
"dunno Italy maybe. Greece is in turmoil right now. but I'm not flying all that way and not saying hi to friends. I know it's not important to you, but it is to me. yeah I'd go back to Barcelona." lolturmoil |

The Greek Islands can get really touristy in the summer, as well as unbearably hot. I personally prefer Greece but think Italy probably has more options (and shade). Although if you can avoid the lager-lout tourists and handle the heat, Greece really is amazing.

Greece is cool, people are relaxed and the sun always puts you into good mood.
When you want to experience grumpy, visit Bratislava. I'll teach you local swear words and throw you into water fountain.

greece is on the verge of economic collapse (think: iceland) and might be easy on your wallet. unless daddy warbucks is footing the bill in which case go to the most expensive destination. if you're going on summer iceland might be nice and dirt-cheap. oh they used to own the world and now they are everyone's minion thanks to our mortgage crisis. they produced bjork, who has nipples like large grains of rice. the UK? why? everyone from there wants to flee. that can't be a good thing. i know: you fear foreign languages. me, i'd kill for italy & france. get your rosetta stone & start practicing, ugly american. |
