I don't like scary movies...

Whatever you do stay the hell away from Saw.

I recommend Silent Hill (with some friends) if you want a good laugh.

im probably going to rent silent hill tonight, ive played all the games i pretty much have too.

28 days later is easy to find and one of my favorites. the ring is good if you havent already seen it.
The wicker man is good, very different from your average horror film.
check out jacob's ladder too, very good film.

there are some old classics that are hard to find but are awesome:

last man on earth
messiah of evil
night of the living dead

the exorcist and texas chainsaw masscre (the original version, of course) are pretty much the two best horror films ever made

i LOVE Saw. one of my favourite "horror" (more of a suspense or something.. not too horror-y) movies. I'm not too into many horror movies, except the old cheesy black and white ones. "Zombie" is fantastic.

*Zombie isn't black and white...

Scary movies don't always have to be horror.
Some thrillers do the job too. Arlington Road, Frailty.

david lynch unsettles me. lost highway mostly.
eraserhead is quite literaly a horror film, the most horrific film i ever saw. not scary, just horrific.
when the japanese horrors started they seemed promising, but now they all seem the same. ring was good, ju-on was better but the same kind of thing.
if anyone can recommend a really scary film, please do. id love to be scared by a film but it just doesnt seem possible. fear is one big rush. i want it. i cant find it in films.
i want to go to so called haunted houses and try to get scared.
im very interested in deserted buildings in the middle of nowhere, places destroyed and long forgotten. i used to go and i used to get scared like hell.

this is the kind of place im into, but i need an acomplice, i cant find one. these japanese guys and gals all believe in ghosts and are too scared to come. id be far too scared to go to these places alone.

this is the koolest place on earth
hashima island.

a city, on an island off nagasaki in japan. it used to be the most densley populated place on earth, a coal mining community. it had everything you would expect in a large town or city:schools, cinema, hospital. but everybody left there in the early 70's and now its completely abandoned.
its been battered by typhoons and is in ruins. it was used for filming battle royal two.
its very difficult to get to, and illegal.
im determined to get there.
wish me luck.

I like scary movies. I more admired Saw than liked it, since it had me pondering what I would do in those situations and feeling uneasy for about a week after I saw it. But it was a really good movie.

I usually find horror video games scarier, so for my horror fix I generally turn to those.

Missed this post but, yes, they are possibly the two horror movies that never fail to scare me.The way the sound is used in texas chainsaw massacre reminds me of the asian use of sound in movies and soap operas. So over the top,it's scary.Another one would have to be Deep Red(or Profondo Rosso for italian speakers)
