Lee has taken to social media to express his sadness over the loss of friend and Lee Ranaldo and the Dust bandmate Tim Lüntzel. I have been unsuccessful in finding an account of what happened, but I thought it would be appropriate to give condolences here.

His playing on that Dust record is unbelievable, so effortlessly fluid. I wish I knew more about his other work. Very sad news, he seemed loved by many if the dozens and dozens of Facebook posts I've seen are any indication.

Saw the flood of posts on facebook too, they give the impression he was a good man, a total pro and a stellar player.
I read he had a long battle with Lou Gherig's Disease. Really sad news, indeed. Rest in Peace. |
