OK.
As simple as that. 2.00 in the morning, and cops turn up to break up our party. Fucking stupid ones as well, cream of the crop. This is happening in Paris, day before election day; fear and resentment is all I feel when thinking about tomorrow's result - Less than 48 hours ago on national, primetime, public TV, we have poll organisers saying that "it's gonna take a miracle" for the 'left' to win over the 'right'... What kind of bullshit brainwashing crap is that? Is this who wants to be a millionaire, like everyone's gonna follow the audience vote? What kind of shitty system's in place? Let's have some real news... ... like stuff that's not widely reported: all cops are to be on duty on Monday, and all lawyers are to report to their local police station; this is because they are fearing a riot situation if Sarkozy wins, and want to have an effective and speedy prosecution system up and running if they have to arrest anyone... Even the french NGO La Ligue des Droits de l'Homme ("Human Rights League") is calling for everyone to vote against Sarkozy. How has it come to this? How come 55% of the population is voting for a guy who has the same ideas as some fucker they voted 80% AGAINST last time around in, oh, 2002... WTF... Is there something in the water? Fuck. I'm out of here. Sad. |

Bump, because this story of yours is completely for the fail and exactly what one would expect of the police. It's patronising to have them on you like that, and in Britain we also have a similar pick of the litter for those who represent us on the political compass. We have Chris Moyles et al fronting our media (a man who once spake to this effect: "I don't like gays. I don't have a reason why, I just don't like them,") while those who are lefties must suppress it other wise they are mocked and criticised.
I'm sorry to hear about that. |
