View them all here: https://chromepeelerrecords.bandcamp.com/merch BASEBALL FURIES - All American Psycho” CD High energy punk rock’n’roll with reckless abandon leading to destructive results. This is punk built on guitar riffs - mean, angry and measured. Oozing a raw punk ethic from every pore, this is the embodiment of every band your parents have ever hated! RIYL: Le Shok, Germs, Electric Frankenstein BLOWTOPS - “Insected Mind” CD Noisy, creepy lunatic vibes hailing from the seamy underbelly of America's garage rock emporium, Buffalo, NY. With a sound that harkens back to the noise-core/trash rock heyday of the early 90’s. Think Pussy Galore, the Chrome Cranks and Action Swingers with a dose of The Scientists, drenched in reverb and high end feedback. CONCUBINE FORMING – “The Guilt Will Kill” CD 10 songs of pure industrial-punk mayhem recorded by Alicja Trout and Jay Reatard, who capture their abusive and rage-inducing sound perfectly. Fuzz guitars, a pounding bass, and having absolutely no use for a drummer, they instead use the bombastic thud of a drum machine. RIYL: Screamers, Team Robespierre FACILITY MEN - “It’s Fun to Disappear” CD 12 songs of desperate, melodic, and frenzied Rust Belt hate. Anxious, agitated and unsettled AmRep-style noise-rock scrape and Wire/Gang of Four geometry unleash a torrent of biting guitar riffs and desperate vocals twisted and held together by a precise rhythm section. From members of the Blowtops, Fatal Figures and Plates FIRE RETARDED – “Scroggz Manor” CD Fast, frenzied, and dirty! Scuffed-up garage rock fronted by a vocalist who switches easily between cocky crooning and blown-out shrieking (with a noted preference for the latter). “Garage” is about as worn-out and over saturated as a genre prefix can get these days, but Fire Retarded do spice things up with some unorthodox deviations into weirdo psych rock riffage. Comparisons to The Reatards are inevitable—do you think the name’s a coincidence? GINO AND THE GOONS – “Off the Rails” CD This is the Goons at their loudest and loosest - ten smoking tracks of wild '50srock and roll meets blistering Stooges sleaze meets sloppy '70s punk meets '90sgarage punk trash extraordinaire. They certainly sound like truant high school smokers hanging out under the bleachers. RIYL: The Spits, Jim Jones Revue,Dictators HOLLYWOOD – “Hits! An Alltime Low” CD Combines their first two singles with seven new cuts from their days as a freebasing teen trio (a two guitar and drum assault --- 100% bass free!). The twelve songs package enough slimy-swagger to fill your speakers and leave a rotgut residue that you won't ever wanna wipe after. With songs concerning everything from the Middle East (Human B.B.Q.), to your mom (Momma), or the neighborhood creeps (Toucher), there's something for everyone. THE MISTREATERS – “Grab Them Cakes” CD Lo-fi punk rock that's about as primal, raw and f'ed up as one can get without degenerating into one big stinking brown puddle. Bug-eyed, rip-roaring noise-punk that incinerates on impact, the perfect combo of sneering vocals and hellfire riffs. RADIO BEATS – “Ready To Shake” CD Blown out, lo-fi scumbag rock’n’roll! Songs about takin’ chicks home, takin’ chicks to the backseat of your car, and chicks givin’ it up, all played fast and dirty. RICHARD VAIN – “Night Jammer” CD Led by Jered Gummere (The Ponys, Bare Mutants), the band blends together garage, psych, krautrock, and art-punk, their warped vision darting between sounds, the blistering guitar distortion and motorik rhythms working together throughout to pull you in, tractor beam-style. Stooges charisma and primal repetition, make for a good, scuzzy, time. RIYL: THEE OH SEES, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, JAMC SONNY VINCENT – “Cyanide Consomme” CD 14 barn burners from TESTORS frontman! The songs are prefect blend of the Dead Boys with the hard punch of the Stooges. The guitar tone on this album is vicious, topped with vocals that cut. Each track containing tough riffs that you would expect of someone from the 70’s punk scene, but each song has hooks and melodies that make you want to get up and dance. In the past, Sonny has collaborated with members of The Damned, Dead Boys, Stooges,Replacements, Velvet Underground, Pentagram, Rocket From The Crypt and had his tunes covered by DARKTHRONE! TRACTOR SEX FATALITY – “Bloodeagle”CD Wild,messed-up garage-punk sounds from Seattle delivers eight demented tracks of noise, hard hitting guitars, a bass that beats you like a bat, and drums that are all pummeling kicks. FFA: Scratch Acid, Monoshock T-TOPS – “s/t” CD Noisy, uncompromising punk-infused rock that draws heavily from such straight-shooting acts as UNSANE and MOTÖRHEAD with a definitive JESUS LIZARD influence. A dirty symphony of car wrecks, grimy alleys, beat-to-shit jeans, and bottomless reservoirs of snarling rust-belt antipathy translated into musical form. If you yearn for the halcyon days of Amphetamine Reptile but with a contemporary twist, then look no further! RIYL: Melvins, Zeke, Cancer Bats TWIN GUNS – “Imaginary World” CD A haunted greaser chic mix of Ventures reverb, spooky tremolo, and Gun Club sexbeat. Garage Noir that combines elements of'60s punk, biker instrumentals,surf-rock and psychedelia with a sinister, no-nonsense delivery. RIYL: The Cramps, Black Angels WOOD CHICKENS – “Countrycide” CD Wood Chickens embody The Meat Puppets, The Minutemen, The Country Teasers, Cows and The Cramps all in one band. This isn't yr momma or papa's country-punk/cow-punk/rockabilly band, this is the voice and a choice of a new generation. |
