I'll probably end up seeing it, just so I can specifically point out the shittiness to those who loved it.

The hybrid by Carrie Gorman. Thursday, June 14 2007 Part shoe, part trainer, the hybrid takes the formal brogue and Oxford shape and adds a canvas or soft leather shell thereby striking the balance between smart and scruffy footwear. Fundamentally, they’re just pointy trainers, with a bit of a “die-hard-trendy” reputation attached, but if you think more Johnny Borrell than Chelmsford geezer on a Saturday night, they can be a flattering and cool shoe. Best worn with slim-fit jeans or needle cords, the hybrid shoe was kicked off by Carnaby Street store Swear and its popularity has spread worldwide, especially in Tokyo and Hong Kong where it is sold as the “London shoe”. Here are the pick of the hybrids on the high street. http://www.thelondonpaper.com/cs/Satellite?blobcol=urldata&blobkey=id&blobtable=Mun goBlobs&blobwhere=1157167165594&ssbinary=true 1.
