So my mom told me recently how "horrible" it was to hear my older brother scream when they took him in the other room of the hospital to be circumcized as a baby.

So naturally I asked "then why'd you let me get circumcized?"

My mother said "well, your father convinced me to let all of my boys get circumcized because most boys are in american culture."

So I said "Well, nobody has ever seen my dick to make fun of it in the first place, circumcized or not. Not in the locker room or in the bathroom. Nobody sees my dick mom!"

My mom says "well a girl might get freaked out"

I say "well if she gets freaked out she's a stupid bitch and not worth my time"

My mom says "what if it was Salma Hayek, what if you were uncircumcized and she was so repulsed that she wanted you to get a circumcision as an adult?"

Me, "I wouldn't. Not for anybody."



So, there is one thing I wouldn't do for love. I wouldn't have an adult circumcision if I had a foreskin to be circumcized for love.

Some other things I don't think I'd do for love:

• put my life in danger for the hell of it (I'll jump into the gorilla pit and challenge the silverback for you honey!)
• renounce loved ones
• group sex
• fulfill a girls masochistic fantasies by being violent to her
• eat mayonnaisse, mustard, pickles, relish, tuna salad, or any other food that makes me want to puke just thinking about it
• kill someone in cold blood
• become a vampire
• Stop listening to my favorite music
• heroin
• quit guitar

There are a bunch of things I wouldn't do for love.

Here is my list;

- Change religion or denounce it altogether
- Kill someone, maim someone, etc.. for no reason
- Compromise my dreams
- Eat salad
- Eat shit
- Have myself chained by the nipples to a moving vehicle

That's a pretty good list. I might eat salad for love. Just provided that the dressing is of my choice (thai peanut butter sauce!)

There is an episode of Flight of the Conchords where Bret rights a song for a girl, claiming he'd do a bunch of things for her like climb the highest mountain, etc.

I don't think that there is anything I wouldn't do for love (if I felt as if I HAD to).

1. I'd drink a gallon of curdled milk.
2. I'd kill.
3. I'd kill whoever I killed (if they got back up).

6. I'd not only do the heroin, I'd score it, cook it and tie my love's arm.

Telsa69 is right, the term 'love' is used so casually that the real feeling means so much more, and it's also something difficult to imagine when you're not experiencing it.

What I wouldn't do:
-Kill someone
-Heavily emotionally/ physically harm someone (doing something that would fuck them over)
-Public nudity
-Put myself in great danger

yes but the "love" tesla is speaking off is more of a codependent obsession that disappears with time, having more to do with bottled-up sex taking over the brain than with any noble feelings.

real love (hard to use that word in public without cringing) doesn't require you to become someone else.

in the case of julian's mom, as with any marriage, the deranged state of mind tesla describes, which induced her to marry, had long been replaced with something else, after living together & having children, let's just not go into what it may have been.
