I just can't help myself, I've fallen in love with this project recently.
Anyone with me?

I've never heard anything. Can someone send me in the direction of some mp3s online or up a song for me?

He played my house a couple years back with a reunited rhBand. Pretty awesome, metal-level-heavy drone/noise. A new 3xCD is out now on Last Visible Dog. http://www.lastvisibledog.com/

I saw him play the day I turned 18, it pretty much changed music for me. His stuff is pretty varied from what i've heard. Our Love Will Destroy the World almost sounds like godflesh or big black in some bits...

Birchville Cat Motel is amazing, but nobody in New Zealand has heard of him, it's kind of embarrassing. He opened for Sonic Youth when they came here a few years ago, but I missed out

Birchville Cat Motel are great. My current faves are "Our Love Will Destroy the World", "Chi Vampires" and "We Count These Prayers", though I'll be pretty surprised if Mr. Kneale doesn't turn out another one before the year is over. I'm currently looking forward to the BCM/Yellow Swans collab that's coming out soon.

I really love
Beautiful Speck Triumph... I also have Cranes Are Sleeping and his sublime collaboration with Lee Ranaldo ... I'm hungry for more...

I posted pretty negative opinions on the old board about the BCM / Lee Ranaldo CD when it came out, but it grew on me and ended up going back and retracting them.

I was of the impression he had some success in the United States. In New Zealand there is absolutely nothing. I've only talked to about five or six people in New Zealand who had heard of them and about three were tourists from the States.
When he opened for Sonic Youth most people I talked to about the show thought he was American... |

Yeah, all of his work is spledid, but anyways I prefer his earlier droney dreamy stuff to this doom-influenced production that he makes nowadays.
