I'll skip the introductory bullshit and cut to the chase:
Which "classic" CAN album reigns supreme? As a sub-question of sorts, have you a favourite track?! I'm allowing Delay 1968 and Sountracks in the poll too - kinda sorta albums. Anyway, I think their best was Monster Movie and I'm in love with 'Thief' right now... P.S. Hey everyone. EDIT: Poll upped. |

Tago Mago or Soundtracks for me.
My favorite Can tune is probably Mother Sky, but you're a jerk for forcing me to choose. And welcome. |

Aye, hello.
I concur with Drone, except my favourite tune is Halleluwah.

To answer the question, Ege Bamyasi

I dunno if three months have passed, im afraid my conception of time is broken down into slightly more significant events than how many times a poll about the best Can album is started.

no, it's like someone pointing out the stupidity of a stupid joke that's funny, it nullifies the funny part.
by the way, i wasn't trying to be mean to anybody, just made an observation, this daydream guy or girl seems alright. and cult is awesome, love you honey. |

Yeah, yeah, yeah... Sorry I am. I've just registered though and I honestly wanted to gauge opinion - I'm going through a hardcore phase at the moment. Anyway, guess I should have figured the official SY board would feature these sort of things on an annoyingly regular basis.

I voted Tago Mago. Not sure why it's a "predictable classic" as the music and album are not predictable at all. Certainly because of it's innovativeness it has become their most critically acclaimed record, but a double album with that level of experimentation wasn't exactly a sly commercial strategy in it's day.
