It's all well and good saying racism is bad, but I'm not entirely sure how repeating it does anything but leave the impression that you feel really really bad for being a little bit priveleged and a little bit white.

Objectification can be shorthand for broad generalities, by the way - it's not in and of itself a terrible thing. For instance - calling someone a racist is objectifying them, and perpetuates the binary opposition that makes racism a black and white issue.

it is important to vocalize and speak out against our own ignorance and yes, racism, because people do not speak out these things, and forget they even exist.
