brian wilson is NOT happy.
i like the rest of your choices, especially alan bishop, and panda bear has a beautiful voice. satomi from deerhoof is great. wayne coyne from anything of the lips alblums prior to at war with the mystics (his voice was one of the most annoying aspects of that very annoying alblum), arthur lee anyone? |

joey ramone bleated like a goat. it's great.
i generally prefer really not-happy music and especially really not-happy vocals.

"turn it on" "frogs" "talkin bout the smilin deathporn immortality blues" (i think thats the proper title?) and how could we forget "she don't use jelly" of course they do have later work which is maybe sad or more tranquil sounding, my personal favourites being "do you realize?" and my very favourite flaming lips song, "are you a hypnotist??"
