yes i dig it like hell at the moment. its really addictive, but I am not sure why. the bleepy melody sounds totally outdated. the drums are grainy but the rythm is that typical african rythm I cant stand for long, most of the time. the only thing which is a sure shot is the dark synth line. but it never changes its there all the time without any chnages.

and I think the remix on his side is the best proof that there must be something special about the original tune, cause the remix would never hook me

It came out quite a while ago, it's not that recent. Has he put an album out yet?

It's the way the rhythm is so syncopated that got me hooked. I'm talking about the original version. It also came out when I was listening to a lot of German electronic music from the 80's which still sounds fantastic to this day, and this gelled very well with all that, somehow.

strange tune, the bass synth is 3/4 of the cure's 'a forest' bass line, which has been recycled endlessly (don't know if the cure was first to use it, probably not). Timeless rif but this track doesn't seem so special?
nice drums

thats exactly the thing. objectively it isnt special at all. everythings been there before and maybe way better (technically) but this damn track seems to hook a lot of people, even the ones where Ive thought they would never get hooked by this kind of music.

and no I dont think an album is finished so far. but I think I will check it out if it will be released
