Dextromethorphan is the active ingredient that you're going to want to look for when trying to get high off the non-prescription syrup.

but if you insist on swigging cough syrup, you'll have to find this stuff here, over-the-counter won't quite do it.. though from my experience, swig a nice couple draws from a bottle of this stuff and you will be chillin like a motherfucker in an opium den..

I know you cannot buy syrup with codeine in it in the UK. Dextromethorphan is the only one that works. You can find it in Benelyn dry coughs, non drowsy. I've tried it a few times but i won't be doing it again.
