I've put up a small excerpt from the amazing performance VCO did last year at the Fat Cat festival in Hasselt Belgium on my myspace page amongst links to other performances during the festival.

they havnt really played together for a while. lots of members left and people started doing their own things so it all kind of got put on hold.
there was a time in leeds when they played almost every week, or at least once a month.

I'm listening to Creamo Coyl's show on WFMU and the second track is by Neil Campbell's Cloud 1979 cassette from this year. Mind. Blowing.

I wasn’t aware of Spin Age Blasters. I just downloaded a couple of shows in my WFMU app and will enjoy these while working at night.
Neil sent me four tapes last month and Cloud 1979 was my first listen......and it sounds freaking fantastic on cassette. This past week on Hollow Earth Radio, I heard the brand new Neil Campbell and Helena Celle - NCHCSW. Released last month on Halloween, it’s one 30 minute track where they each play a shortwave radio. If you’ve ever toyed around with a shortwave radio, you’ll enjoy this! |
