He says he has no intrest in reviving his role as Renton in a "Porno" film adaptation. That really sucks, becuase I bet this movie is still going to be made and it would really suck if the actors from "Trainspotting" didn't a reprise thier roles.

A sequel would suck so much ass. Even if it was good, people would still say it sucked.

Its meant to be a little misleading but I did put "Porno" in qoutes to show it was the title of something and not porno. Yes I have read the book, and while it might not be quite as good as "Trainspotting" it was still a good read.

Can't much go wrong with any Irvine Welsh novels, although he will
not top "Trainspotting" by any measure.

"Crime" sounds really good too, but I'm currently reading "Bedroom Secrets of the Masters Chefs". Its Welsh's most straight forward prose work ever.

I have Porno, Glue, Crime, and Bedroom Secrets to read sometime in the future. Looking forward to Skag Boys after that.
I'd REALLY like to see Danny Boyle get everyone on board for the sequel, but I don't it'll happen.

Porno & Glue are great, Bedroom Secrets is awful. Haven't read Crime.

I did. I've always assumed that's the second book of choice when it comes to Irvine Welsh. Maybe it's because I've seen it sitting on the book-shelves of quite a few houses. |

"Filth" was okay, wasn't that into it, I actually think one of his best novels is the "Marabou Stork Nightmares".
