Howdy everybody- I just recently lost the entirety of my digital music collection due to a PC crash, which isn't the biggest of deals since I have most of my digitized music on CD and vinyl. However one thing I don't have on a tangible format is my collection of Beck Bootlegs:
Don't Get Bent Out Of Shape Banjo Story Golden Feelings A Western Harvest Field By Moonlight 1992 Demo Cassette Could anyone upload any of these to rapidshare or mediafire if they have them? I'd be extremely gracious. I know I shared these with other SYG members in the past when I had them (and when I had a different username). Thanks. Oh and I already have 'Fresh Meat and Old Slabs' so don't worry about that. |

Bodacious. These early tapes really are his best work. Thanks Derek!
You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Derek again. |

fwiw, while I'm sure those are great links too, I can guarantee the quality of the ones I'm upping to be between good and great. nothing below 192 kbps and no transcodes

oh no worries, I mean if he prefers that it saves me valuable bandwidth but on the same note I also figure if I can, I may as well provide a sure bet for good quality, y'know?

can I just point out that Golden Feelings and A Western Harvest Field By Moonlight are not at all bootlegs. Golden Feelings was Beck's first official release in 1993 on Sonic Enemy. Originally issued only on cassette, it was then reissued (officially) on CD in 1993 by Sonic Enemy, but without Beck's permission and he put a stop to it. Thus, making the price shoot way the fuck up. I have one. A Western Harvest Field... was a vinyl 10" release on Fingerpaint Records. Each of the limited edition first run came with a different fingerpainting by Beck (or one of his friends at least). There was a 2nd printing I believe, as I saw one brand new in a store back in 1999 or so and said "hmm. I'll buy it next week." And then it was gone.
