I was just guessing. I do recall them playing with a band called STP too. They used their equipment for a show. Hmm....lets look into it.

Actually I got that slightly wrong it was in the early nineties...
http://sonicyouth.com/history/con-set.html And it was Julie Cafritz's band after she left Pussy Galore... and before Free Kitten. It's funny because I was only thinking the other day that I should try and track down some of their records.

They opened for the yoof with Nirvana a few times, and the drummer's name was Sally. That is all I know.

Tuesday April 20, 2004 with guest DJ thurston moore world-wide interplanetary premiere of the new sonic youth album, "Sonic Nurse" *thurston starts DJing suburban lawns- my boyfriend cabaret voltaire- nag nag nag revelons- the way you touch my hand zeros- dont push me around - sonic youth- pattern recognition sonic youth- unmade bed stp- hey bastard - mecht mensch- acceptance heart attack- shotgun shattered faith- i love america - slant 6- what kind of monster are you cupid car club- grape juice plus scissor girls- stills - sonic youth- peace attack *thurston departs, in good faith Looks like this single is popular in the Gordon/Moore household.
