You can't really go wrong with any of their albums, quite frankly. One of those bands that's TOO good -- start listening to them and you may not ever want to listen to anything else. A rare band without a single bad song. Imagine a more unhinged, more complex, more out of control, and darker Thinking Fellers, and you're on your way to understanding the genius at work here. http://www.mediafire.com/?owdzxn2zgdj |

yay! I just got this one at a local music store for $4, brand new. The cashier said "THANK GOD! THAT'S BEEN SITTING IN THE STORE FOR A YEAR!" Haha.

true nihilism is pretty liberating. I feel pretty untouchable - but it could be because I'm so fucked up right now

I've tried listening to Truman's Water a number of times and they've just never hooked me in, which is weird since they seem like the type of band I'd really enjoy.
Then again I thought about Blonde Redhead for a while and then started liking some of their music, so maybe it will be the same for Truman's Water. ~Jeremy~

Well, now that you mention it, they did do an awesome cover of hair pie: Bake 2, so they obviously are into beefheart, I guess their music is sorta like a harder, non-bluesy take on trout mask at times, haha.

new album is amazing. their first in 8 years! one of the best of the year... if you like this eclipse-era Polvo or strangers from the universe-era TFUL#282, it's pretty similiar. i've only listened to it once but I dig it, lots of weird guitar interplay.
also, http://www.last.fm/music/Trumans+Water = best similiar artists ever... |

adam..again you are legendary!
o zeta zunis is possibly the album of the year. almost flawless. trumans of old and yet distincly polished and accessable to those who would have previously thought of them as.......shite for a better word. stunning album. i wasnt expecting as good as this after their last one but this knocks spots off 80% of their back catalogue! |

cough
/?4c58dnpkghkc5vi cough supposedly, if you put that at the end of a certain site that has MEDIA and is on FIRE, you might get something cool.. just enjoy the album! there aren't too many "fucked up brilliant detuned guitar interplay wizards" out there anymore. |

Thanks Adam, your thoughts on the record have me interested. Downloading that mysterious "/?4c58dnpkghkc5vi" link now.... But if it's more gay porn from you, I'm going to be pissed.
