I'm a fan of polls, as you may be aware, so I thought it appropriate that my first thread should be ... a poll.
Assuming that they are all to happen this year (which may not be the case of course), which Sonic Youth event would you find most exciting?

Oops, I've gone and put it in the Sonic Sharing section, by mistake. Please move.

TOUR!!! No doubt. Hearing their stuff on record is great, but seeing them live is a life-changing experience. I would see them live every day if i could.

Fuck Polls. I'd like a tour though. Coming to my house preferably and one where I wouldn't have to pay.

hey, sy never released an official live recording during the last 20 years. all bootlegs that they are good though but in my opinion would be great some great recordings sometime. even because it's totaly different hear them play live than on record and I like their live sound alot.

There's the 'Hold That Tiger' live bootleggy LP. They released that themselves, didn't they? I've got it, it's rather good. From the Sister era.

I agree. It would be another nice way to mark the 25th anniversary, wouldn't it?

A tour, one of those no support play for 3 hours dealies.
Only seen them once & they were playing support, felt a bit like being thrown out of a restaraunt after the complimentary bread basket. I need more! |
