If Neuromancer is ever turned into a movie, who do you think would do the best job of directing it?

Linkletter did surprisingly well with A Scanner Darkly, so I'd let him do it. Funny that when it finally comes out, whoever does it, people will say it's a Matrix rip off!

Well, the Wachowskis basically already made it once, so why not let them do it again?

Chris Cunningham should pull his finger out of his arse and finish what he started with Gibson.

it would be stupid to film this movie now, its dated and probably been done better already - the Matrix obviously, or Lawnmower man.
Film Rucker's Software or Wetware - they have some imagination in them that hasn't been exploited by the Spectacle. |

Admittedly I have not read Neuromancer, furthermore I haven't read any William Gibson, though my library has Pattern Recognition. So perhaps I'll check that one out sometime.
But I sure love that episode he wrote for the X-Files: Killswitch. That was a great one.
