tha carter 1+2 were undeniably great. then wayne started to fall off with c3 (mostly garbage, but still had a few dope songs) & finally got dumbed down when he came back from jail.

still gonna listen to this, cuz i'm a big fan & didn't think that some of the singles were as terrible as most people said. no expectations tho.

when he came back from jail? his rhymes have been so on point since he's got back.

i mean, chris brown is lame but lil wayne's verse on his 'look at me now' song is way too good. ditto this new album and various other appearances he's had since his jailtime.
