registry clean software?

having a clean out of my hard drive and getting rid of all the bad songs i downloaded etc. any good and free registry clening tools you know of?

Go to http://www.softpedia.com/.
If you're on a pc, click on the red windows button and type "cleanup software" in the search field. Enter.
There are a few free ones. LS Cleanup 1.0 looks like a good one.

i like adaware a lot, even though it's not exactly a "registry cleaner" it gets rid of any traces of spyware & crapola you may have picked up.

I've been using CCleaner lately. It turned out really simple little program.
