Just to alert you fine folk to a recent interview Lee did with the BBC. Most of the Sonic Youth related stuff comes towards the end - apparently he mentioned similar stuff in BBC 6 Music interview a couple of weeks ago.

This was broadcast on BBC Radio 5 live a couple of days ago:

It mentions Sister Demos, a Tour movie from 1986, and he also mentioned footage from a show in the late 80's in London where Iggy Pop came onstage and performed I Wanna Be Yr Dog with them, that they all loved. The last bit was cut out of the interview sadly!

My guess is the Iggy Pop cameo is from the Town & Country show in 1987 during a Sister Euro tour, that and Schizophrenia appear on the Screaming Sonic Fields VHS from the 90's...
