My new favourite band.Do yourselves a favour and listen humbly.I bumped across an mp3 of 'Welcome To Dreamsville' and couldn't believe my ears.
Here you can download tons of their stuff.Enjoy. http://www.delayedsleep.com/music.html "Everytime I listen to you guys I have flash-backs!" - random audience member "So how long do you guys have to practice to sound like that?" - random audience member Delayed Sleep is a psychedelic rock band from Sacramento California. Their hypnotic recordings have been played on several public radio stations such as KDVS 90.3 (UC Davis, California) and others throughout the country. To describe their sound listeners have described them as everything from psychedelic, to progressive to avante-garde to noise. Hmmm....they seem quite a hit and miss sort of band.Either they get it totally right or they sound a bit lacklustre.
I have the same problem with a band called Home. They can/could either be genius or simply crap. |

okay, i'm listening. yes, it's better than the other 2 ive heard. it vaguely reminds me of pink floyd's "echoes". but doesn't really blow my socks off or anything-- i guess we have different tastes-- i'm going back to listen to menstruating banshees
