During the performance, Armisen was joined by several musical legends, reflecting his own background as a musician: His "Portlandia" collaborator and Wild Flag and Sleater-Kinney leader Carrie Brownstein, Sex Pistols guitarist Steve Jones, Sonic Youth's Kim Gordon, J Mascis of Dinosaur Jr., and musical powerhouse couple Aimee Mann and Michael Penn.

Almost twenty years after Sleater-Kinney formed, this is the first time I think anyone has come up with something as downright stupid as the phrase "Sleater-Kinney leader" (also false of Wild Flag). Arianna, fire this writer immediately.

forget about show attendance, the fact that carrie brownstein is the spokesperson for a major credit card indicates she's just far outgrown sleater-kinney in the public eye

Agreed on both fronts, corin is a sweetheart and I also wish she was my sister or at least a cool friend to have drinks with after work some days and talk about kids and work and music and bullshit. As to being attracted to Janet, she wouldn't mind I'm sure so long as your not just staring at her chest as it rhythmically bounces when she is drumming (rob!).. Ladies tend not to like to be sexually objectified when expressing themselves through relatively non-sexual tasks
