I don't own any of their albums, so I can't say "this song is great" or "you gotta check out this album," but I have listened to them and they are pretty quality

Yeah, I like their recent album pretty much and keep listening to it on my ways home from work, when I'm in a good mood (i.e. not very often )

Last one is really nice, much much much better than the others. Wonder if they can deliver a good live show. Hard to see them ehre in italy, probably...

Is their new one really that good?? I have Louden Up Now, which I really like, just don't listen to that often.

The new one has more proper "songs", it's more focused imo, much better produced and less boring. It's a personal opinion, "louden up now" imo had some really good tracks but some were way too long/diluted, "Myth takes" is more "to the point".

rapping? if their singer raps, then so does kim gordon. and the new album has hooks galore.

I think the new album is different from Louden Up Now. Louden Up Now had a certain "unity", I mean all tracks were in the same style, with massive bass lines, groovy singing. On Myth Takes, on the contrary, they tried more things, more psychedelic (Myth Takes, Break In Case Of Anything), disco-like singing sometimes (Heart of Hearts), etc. I even find that beginning harmonics of A New Name sounds like the one in Shadow of a Doubt.
Well, I love both as much. The first one is not as good, but he still have great songs, it's too a great record. I saw them live twice, and they're even better than on studio, they're just awesome, especially Nic Offer, everywhere on stage at the same time. |

yeah, it's very groovy. Can any of you by any chance recommend me some other album like that? (Liar's first album or LCD Soundsystem's self titled come to my mind immediately)
