It’s easier to wrap my head around that happening in 2001 than it is in 2020.
I mean they’ve released 2 decent records, and like 4 albums that sound exactly like those 2 records, only increasingly less charming.
Somehow they nabbed some new fans this year though. No clue how it works.

Yeah, it was. Took me a while to warm to it and let my skeptic-guard down, but those tracks are fun as hell and still get stuck in my head often.

Couldn't agree more with this statement; I found myself listening to Don McLean's 'American Pie' album a lot this year and felt that I shouldn't be enjoying it or admitting to it.
Then i realised I should, its a fucking good album, well written, beautifully performed and stands the test of time.

Taylor has won the year for me.
