Oh that's so fucking dope dude ^^^
I lowkey resent going straight from an apartment to a house. I feel I would've really embraced the trailer park lifestyle well Here's my magnet, I dknt think the picture justifies just how big it is. Over 8 inches wide |

I dont find Breathless overhyped whatsoever. I guess if you're watching movies for plot, then yeah. But that's never been what Godard is about. Whenever I watch movies the first thing I think of is the emotions I feel while watching them, then the colors (or lack thereof) and sound design. They all have different energies, it's why I dislike the mcu. Theyre like soulless pits. Like if Ted Cruz were a film. Breathless is youth. Its quick, its quirky, its punk rock. Breathless is lustful love all while constantly winking at the camera like a wispy wind. Never bothered with battleship or birth of a nation. Birth seems especially boring, and doesnt it frame the kkk in a positive light? Like long as fuck also. I dont do well w silent films unless it's comedy or horror. Really need to rewatch Kane. I remember hating it as a kid. I didn't like La Dolce Vita when I first saw it at a young age either. Hmmmmmm.... |

I'll have to rewatch everything. I know I couldn't stand the third one, and stopped halfway through, but both the first two Dark Knight movies were ace. I prefer the Scarecrow and watching Bruce become the bat. Fuck man lol. Also hot take: ledger's joker is overrated due to his death. Willem defoe's Green Goblin is leagues beyond what he pulled off and homeboy had a metal mask on half the time. That mirror scene though or when he first becomes the goblin and busts out like hulk Hogan on poppers |

Batman Begins is my favourite of the three, too. Dark Knight was too reliant on Heath Ledger for me and, to be honest, I found large sections of it quite boring. |

That’s stupid. The third movie is certainly the worst, but Tom Hardy’s Bane is the second best villain, easily. Re-watch and peep the body language. That’s the best comic-to-screen *improvement* ever. Because Bane was that sucky in the comics and was that awesome in the movie. And genuinely threatening. I’ll give you that watching Bruce become Batman is better than watching Batman be Batman in most cases, but The Dark Knight as a whole just pulverizes its predecessor. It’s like, “Oh, you liked that 8.5/10 movie? Ok, cool cool. Hope you’re not disappointed by this 100,00/10 slice of perfection sequel that makes you jizz your pants through your BRAIN.” Quote:
OHHHHOHOHOOOOOOHHHNO NO NO NO How long has it been since you watched Spider-Man? Those are some of the shittest movies to ever make fucktons of money, and Dafoe — despite being a capable actor — for some reason CHOSE to be a melodramatic cartoonish fuck-bro in those stupid goddamn piles of shit. In the hierarchy of superhero films, Spider-Man 1, 2 and 3 are leagues below latter-day *X-Men movies* (that means they’re so bad that really bad movies look good in comparison). The Dark Knight is a great film irrespective of genre, and Ledger’s performance is Daniel Day Lewis-level or beyond. You’re a madman or a troll or both. Or you just haven’t watched any of these films more than once. |

Raimi's Spiderman 2 is still my favourite Superhero film. I also prefer the 1st Iron Man and Avengers films to any of Nolan's Batman trilogy. But different people look for different things in these kinds of films.

I'm going to Florida for a week tomorrow, and have added the following unwatched films and necessary rewatches to my laptop to keep me company:
Batman Begins The Dark Knight Blade Runner Blade Runner 2 Citizen Kane Force Awakens Last Jedi Prolly won't watch everything, but I can't see myself being disappointed by any of this either. |

You’re both insane. Those films are so ridiculously bad they they belong in a quadruple feature with “The Room.” Seriously, so bad. Maybe they were supposed to be bad? I like Raimi movies, mostly. But not those fucking things. Willam Defoe disgraced himself and his craft with that B-movie shtick. REMEMBER WHEN HE PUTS ON A SHAWL AND TRICKS SPIDER-MAN BY PREDENDING TO BE AN OLD LADY IN A BURNING BUILDING WHO JUST HAPPENS TO HAVE A WATERMELON-SIZED HEAD AND THE VOICE OF A MAN? AND SPIDEY FALLS FOR IT?! Because that HAPPENS in the first one. And then Goblin does Power Ranger stance? “Tadaa!! Hahahahahahahah! Tricked you, Spider-Man!!” Yeah. *Awesome* stuff, guys. Way better than the Oscar winning performance that people are still fucking deconstructing to this day in that movie that only assholes pretend not to appreciate. Yup. Way better. Also, Tranformers is better than Blade Runner 2049, because SURE! WHY NOT! WE’RE LRETEBDING TERRIBKE THINGS ARE GREAT AND GREAT THINGS ARE TERRIBLE NOW. Goddammit you’re both fucking trolling me. |

Awww... look that’s awesome bro and the acting too omg Infinity War = bad because there was too much stuff in it, I guess But Spider-Man... this movie... had the right amount of things in it, and those things were of the worst quality imaginable so must be better than the Dark Knight! Right! LOOOOOL! Dark Knight y’bitches. Jesus. |

lolol i dont know, it was many years ago, i just did not connect with it, maybe a bad vhs, maybe i came to it with different expectations. i think something similar happened with mouchette jumping into the water or something. i might have seen the first few minutes and said nope. i am not sure why tbh. maybe too much pathos in both? whereas others are more cerebral. balthasar seems the sweet spot though. whatta movie. |
