It actually didn't make much sense indeed. The pic was taken the day I purchased the guitar. I wanted to drive home immediately, a bud of mine had other plans. He wanted to hit the mall because he had to buy some presents if I remember correctly. We then decided that it would be a funny thing to see the reactions of people around spotting my guitar. It was quite disappointing, only a few of them actually reacted in a funny way.

That reminds me of the time a friend of mine, my brother & I went to Wal-Mart around 1 AM. He had his acoustic guitar and a sombrero. I had taught him how to play the stereotypical Mariachi rhythm, and he went through the Wal-Mart serenading the night staff with such brilliant tunes as "Me Gustan Los Pantalones" until we got kicked out. Most everybody thought it was funny, but as soon as we got into the toy section some manager lady started complaining that we were playing with the toys (no idea why) and got one of the muscly cart pushers to escort us out. Twas a fun night, though.

here's the first dress i ever made from a pattern, and the first item i made from scratch that is totally wearable and made without too many visible flaws:

i also cut my hair shorter again but it's not that clear in the pic.

sorry for the weird angle, i was in a hurry.

my room is pretty tidy right now actually. there's not that much lying on the floor. all the things you see are always there...
