How's the sound quality for the Cattle Club performance?
If you could upload it for me I'd be much obliged. |

i'm guessing it's a soundboard recording since the vocals are very upfront, you can hear everything but it's not that crystal clear and sometimes the vocals dominate the mix. but the performances are pretty good. i'll upload it in a second. |

there's a lot of cool floyd floating around right now, here's some i've found. haven't listened to all of them yet, but the ones i have listened to are great.
pink floyd @ roosevelt stadium june 16, 1973 boston march 14, 1973 pt.1 part 2 (this one is excellent- the first half meddle, second half DSotM) atom heart mother on the road Philadelphia 1970 phillie part 2 Germany 1970 Cruel But Fair part 1 part 2 part 3 part 4 (Cruel but Fair is really good- lots of wish you were here & dark side stuff, with "raving and drooling" and "you gotta be crazy" which are early versions of 'sheep' and 'dogs' from animals. the password is posted_first_at_chocoreve i can't seem to upload stuff of my own right now, so this will have to do... i'll put up some jimi soon.

Unfinished Music #2 Life with the Lions (Apple, 1969) "I make sounds to look at. This I know from Yoko. I live in her shadow." - Thurston Moore Melody Maker (6/28/97, p.58) - "[This] is, assuming you're relatively strong of stomach, fantastic...for all its improvised imprecision, it actually sounds subtle, structured even....tremendously listenable." - Thurston Moore Spin (9/97, p.157) - "...Lennon's feedback textures sound startlingly contemporary--the way he plays against Ono's mantric form-warbles, sinking into free-jazz gush, could be mistaken for something newly struck by Sonic Youth's Thurston Moore..." http://www.megaupload.com/?d=4452TPS0 1. Cambridge 1969 (26:33) 2. No Bed For Beatle John (4:42) 3. Baby's Heartbeat (5:11) 4. Two Minutes Silence (2:02) 5. Radio Play (12:41) 6. Song For John (1:33) 7. Mulberry (8:59) John Lennon: acoustic guitar Yoko Ono: vocals John Tchicai: saxophone John Stevens: percussion Recorded live at Lady Mitchell Hall, Cambridge, England on March 2, 1969 and at Queen Charlotte Hospital, London, England on November 4 & 25, 1968. Life With The Lions creeps sideways into the details of Yoko's miscarriage. |
