I think it's an elephant shoe case.
Lips look like she's saying something she isn't. People making fun of it with made up subs. Elephant shoe = I love you. Check in a mirror .

I tried weed for the first time last night. It had no effect on me whatsoever.

yeah, as far as drugs go, weed is about as useless and ineffective as you can get. My thing is, if I'm going to take a risk (with the law) doing drugs, if I'm going to spend money, I'm going to do something that either makes me feel really really good, or gives me a profound, life changing experience. Good weed can make you go "wow, everything's funny" or "wow, everything's weird"... but there's also a lot of "wow, I'm paranoid." or "wow, this is boring." It makes ya hungry, sleepy (I want to enjoy my buzz, not go to sleep!), have dry mouth.. just.. kinda.. boring. I've had about 4 or 5 joints where I've heard music differently or something, and that was neat... but I'd rather do acid where music sounds completely different, and the world is an awesome alien landscape. Lately I've been really into morphine personally. Good shit. IT'S MORPHIN TIME!

That's really common for first-timers, happened to me too. I can't get enough of the stuff now though. Especially since the medical dispensaries opened up around here. It really does help my chronic nausea, aside from relaxing me. Being stoned is a lot better than being drunk, and it's much, much, much, much less damaging than other controlled substances - including alcohol. I rarely seek out getting fucked up on anything else. Weed is chill. It often aids my creativity, as well. |

Me too! I think I was too nervous to inhale properly.
But then I got ahold of an eighth and smoked damn near all of it to my brain. I've done plenty of weaker acid than what happened that night. And then I loved getting high for a couple years. Oh, stoned for a level. Stoned for fun. Stoned for nothing, stoned cause it was good. And then unfortunately I walked into a psychotic nightmare that didnt shake off until after I quit smoking a year. Something about me not being able to filter it out after a while, one doctor suggested, clearly psychotic though. I wouldnt even bother responding to this if I didnt have as an electric and life changing experience as I did when I lived like that. Fuck, I wouldnt wish that on anyone. Probably why I am so sympathetic to schizophrenics and whatever. AND my point is. Weed is way too hard to standardize and thus, legalize. We just dont know enough yet. We've got enough drunks wrecking their homes after long-term use with no support. |

WOW - TINYMIXTAPES CALLED ZS'S "NEW SLAVES" ALBUM OF THE YEAR?
Wow! I mean, it's a really good album, probably my least favorite by them honestly, but it's good... I always wrote that site off but they actually have balls for letting a good band win AOTY. Of course, then they take credit fro the band starting a new tour, like "they wouldn't have been so eager to tour BUT WE GAVE THEM ALBUM OF THE YEAR HONORS"! |

I was rejected from my first choice university so I'm just going to treat next year somewhat as a gap year.
I will concentrate on: a) making more music... since I won't be stimulated in an educational environment I'm going to do my best at creating something great since I will have have the mindspan to throw myself into it. b) going to more shows... this June I will be 18 and I'll finally be able to see all the bands I couldn't before. In the past I've missed out on Kayo Dot, SCG etc. just because they played in an 18+ venue. Well, no more, I'm going to go to as many as possible. c) write more... I've always loved writing but I've never considered myself any good at it so I'm going to try and hone my craft somewhat and use my creativity to write something that's uniquely me and not a style I've stolen from a writer I admire. d) read more... I'm not really interested in fictional novels anymore, I tend to read half of them and then lose interest no matter how much I enjoyed what I've read so far. I'm going to read more poetry books and informational books on things I'm really interested in. e) play clarinet again... I played clarinet for 3 years when I was younger and I still remember everything that I was taught (plus I've gained a lot more music theory that I can use). I'm going to buy one and try and get it down... my mission is to do a UUUUUU album that's somewhat of a composer's album. Yes, I'm gonna sit down with a blank stave and slowly write down everything. It might not be good but I'll learn something from it and that's what counts. f) try and get a different project going... I'd like to try and get a band together with people I know where I can try out some of my weirder song ideas. I've been listening to a lot of Kazuki Tomokawa and I noticed that he sings what he wants, even if he's essentially screaming over folk music. That is kind of inspirational to me considering I've always been shy with singing and I'd like to try it out more.. again, it might not be good but I'll learn something g) play some live shows! I'd like to devise some sort of UUUUUU live show that isn't just me standing behind a pedal. I've got a few ideas but I've still to solidify them into an actual performance h) watch more movies! Since I'll have tons of free time I'll have the time to watch tons of movies again. Usually when I come in from school the last thing I want to do is slog through a 2 hour movie and would rather just go to bed with the Simpsons on in the background or something. My favourite nights ever were lying in my bed till 5am watching through Atom Egoyan and Jon Jost movies. Since they were so late in the night I started to suffer from delirious tiredness and I became transfixed on the movies. I'd like to re-experience that again and again. |

Sounds like fun. Sounds like the stuff I've been doing since I turned 18! THrow in "play some Dreamcast games" and you'll be set! Hah.
BTW, all y'all cinemageddon-ites: THEY JUST PUT UP 6 LOST AND FOUND VIDEO NIGHT VOLUMES! I love shit like this (also see: FOUND FOOTAGE FESTIVALS and TV CARNAGE). It's basically 50-100 random-ass clips of awesome shit. HIGHLY reccomended, endlessly fascinating. |

My advice is to just not make too much music or play too many shows.. I used to be hardcore, making 8 movies in a year and all that.... I just got so burnt out. It's best to just do a little at a time. You probaly know that.
But hey this year you can finally watch TWILIGHT 1994 (d/l off of karagarga) PASTORAL TO DIE IN THE COUNTRY FUNERAL PARADE OF ROSES THROW AWAY YOUR BOOKS AND RALLY IN THE STREETS heheh! |

Oh yeah, I guess my girlfrined broke up with me. I have no idea why honestly. I've been staying with my dying grandpa and I had to do my taxes last week. I don't have a car at the moment... so I've been neglecting her. She got mad and screamed at me and broke up with me. THen she quit school. She has nothing going on right now. I've offered to hang out with her and work things out, but she won't call me. She has sent me a bunch of emails saying she was sorry for being so mean to me. There's just a LOT of shit going on right now, for both of us. I don't think she wants to be in a relationship. As for me.. well.. my grandpa is dying,I'm sick, my mom has cancer, and that's basically my entire family. So yeah.
For those wondering.. So, does this mean I won't have a strong female lead for my next film? Nah. It'll allow me to get creative. I'll just play the girl character. Run around in a thong and a wig. Interact with myself. |

Yah I'll get a new games console or two as well.
I'll be trying out different things so I don't get bored of music. I'm sick of playing ambient music. And I'll definitely be watching a bunch of those movies. |

Best part about having nothing for next year is that I don't have to worry about exams from this year!
