I cracked my bike frame a few days ago; I am getting a new bike in a couple of weeks, but for now my bandmate gave me the BEST LOANER EVER.
This beauty is a vintage 1960s Bianchi.
Usually when someone lets you use a "backup bike" to get you through, it's a beater. I cannot believe he is letting me use this bike! FAST.
I also need a haircut like nobody's business.

that is a beautiful fucking bike. I love those old classic ten speeds. YOu can HAUL SOME ASS in those.

Yeah, it's fast all right.
We took off the small sprocket in the front; it's just a five-speed now.
I usually ride single speed, so I've just left it in top gear for now, but I might try using the gears for the hell of it while I have it.
I love riding around on this work of art.

Haha, that was my loose change. That photo was taken a few days before my college graduation and there was a lou out that required drink money...i think. i'm pretty drunk in those photographs.

No, I wasn't. Circa 89 I was into the pixies, robyn hitchcock, camper van beethoven, sonic youth, replacements, a little husker du, jesus and mary chain, a few other things.
