It's slapstick mainly. But anti-Nazi to the core at a time when the US was still not in WWII.

Last film I watched was Brighton Rock
Richard Attenborough was a disturbingly creepy bastard, ergo he played his role to perfection Not a great film by any means, but decent Oh and I watched Alphaville before that I... did not like it. Give me Godard filming young hipsters in swinging 60's paris anytime

That explains why I laugh the entire time every time I've watched it. It is one of the most unnatural movies ever.

Canal (or Kanal, if you prefer, made in 1956), the second of Andrzej Wajda's trilogy of war adaptations. It's about the Warsaw Uprising. Superb.

I found a really poorly dubbed English Language version on DVD- probably as good as it's going to get. I really liked it but it was hard to keep up with sometimes, it had so much going on. The art direction was stunning though, and I love Dominique Pinon. |

The Legend of Hell House (fucking awesome, fucking funny)
Idiocracy (slow, full of idiots haha) Some movie about a human sacrifice cult in Mexico, which I'll never remember the name of. Border something or other. It was fucking dumb. There were more movies that I've watched the past couple days, but once again, I don't fucking remember.

It had been a few years. I forgot how much of a downer this movie is. Still great.
