Such is post post modern life, you can be accused of being closed minded for listening to the endless ocean of interesting, honest, ambitious, real music past and present at the expense of the algorithmically constructed, manufactured, co-co-co-co-co written slop we're told is music by virtue of its presence at the top of the charts/streams.

That's poptimism for you. You can't opt out of the pop. The pop must be embraced. The pop must be lauded lest you be cast out with the dads and dying.
