This is a great flick to watch back to back with Amadeus. Peter Shaffer used the same themes in both plays. I think I may have written this before.

i watched part of zodiac today in between the olympics:
stylish and creepy movie, but 2 hours 45 minutes is too fucking long for a movie where i know how it ends.

Haha nope.
.. The only Fincher film I don't like thus far is Panic Room. Pretty damn consistent director. |

yeah panic room is ok, but not more or less. but for the really high standards fincher sets it wasnt enough.

Serenity...for the 12th time now i think.
I love it. I'm a huge fan of the show Firefly. I usually watch one episode a day. Not because I like it that much that I HAVE to see it everyday, but just because everything on tv sucks, and its become as routine as my cigarette smoking. I can live without it, but I dont really want to.

oh, and if anyone hasnt seen/heard of it, i obviously highly recommend it. you can stream both the show (only 14 episodes) and the movie online from a lot of websites. I use tv-links.cc
I used to use hulu.com but i think they removed firefly.

Firefly/serenity rule.
dvd boxsets are pretty cheap, btw, worth buying after you get a glimpse of the glory streaming a couple episodes. So, last bunch of days I had lots of things to do and slept in another person's home, had the chance to watch a bunch of movies old/new: Gunny - no comment needed Firefox - "" "" Forgetting Sarah Marshall (much much much better than expected, and, damn, Meg Griffin grew up nicely...), I know it's not a masterpiece or anything, but guys, you have no idea how much WORSE italian actors are when it comes to modern lighthearted comedies these days... Hellboy II the golden army visually stunning, lots of details and great art that deserves multiple pause-rewind-play moments to see all the stuff in the frame, story not really original but still cool, aaaand another brunette in this one too.... fifth element - ba daaa bum
