My last.fm scrobbles about three seconds of a track as a full track. I think it depends on the player. I used to have iTunes and the track wouldn't scrobble until 1/2-3/4 through the song. Now that I have Winamp, it takes much quicker.

So yeah, I guess it's possible some people aren't listening to the full track, though the numbers don't surprise me much given the mass hype this band has on the internet.

hrm. My mistake. I thought it did. I am able to scrobble ten second or less tracks easily, though.

How? Last.fm won't let you scrobble a track at all if it's under.. I THINK... 30 seconds.

I'm using this plugin with Winamp 5.5. Works like a charm. :7)

MPP is #3 on the Irish itunes store on the top selling albums, #17 in the UK, and #15 in france (haven't checked anywhere else)
and #3 on the Danish itunes store on the top albums list

I sometimes feel like I am also the lone person paying for music on actual solid formats, as opposed to digitzed bits on a magnetic hard drive.

does anyone know of any other musical artist who has gotten so big in such a small amount of time? (referring to Wavves/Nathan Williams)... I believe he played his first show as Wavves just a few months ago.
