I haven't even touched the campaign yet on this because I've been pretty hooked on the multiplayer. The first Dead Space has become one of my favorite games EVER.....really amazing.

no UMD drive? Idiots. Oh well. As you know I usually stay one-generation behind for ultimate savings. haha. So it'll be a while before I consider that thing.

I have minimal interest in 3DS and PSP2 to be honest. It usually takes me a while to get convinced about new consoles anyway. It's rare for me to jump on them right away. PS2 was my last launch-system actually. Usually I wait a couple years for prices to go down and for enough games that I might want to really play.

They probably changed from UMD to save money.....cause well you know how cheap Sony can be....which is stupid. Considering how powerful they want to amke it....I mean didn't UMD's have a considerable amount of space to put games into? |

Super Mario Galaxy This game is not just fun, it's damned fun. Anyone who owns a Wii and hasn't experienced this wonderful franchise yet, should definitely be ashamed of themselves. You'll find yourself controlling Mario in all sorts of new ways that you'd never even thought of. This game is a landmark, and a fine example of what ingenuity more developers should be aiming towards when it comes to designing games for the Wii. Supposedly the sequel is even better, but I'm still waiting to beat part one first. Easily one of my favorite Mario titles of all-time, and that's really saying something. |

The end? Noooo. You're about 30% of the way through if Zio's still around. Are you at Zio's Fort or Nurvus?

The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
I gave up on Nintendo after the Super and have only played Playstations since. I purchased a Wii not too long back and have been going back and playing what I missed on there. So far I really like this game.

You know how to use items in battle, right? Just use the Psycho-Wand as you would healing potions like Monomate/Dimate. I recommend setting up a Macro with Rune using the Psycho-Wand, Rika and Demi casting Deban and putting up Barrier respectively, and Gryz and Chaz on Defense in case Zio gets off a shot before Rune can use the wand. Ah yes, Phantasy Star IV. The only RPG I've ever played; simply wasn't into them before and haven't been able to get into any more since. Maybe I'll check out II and III on Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection when I get a 360. Back in my pathetic days (high school), the game's well-developed characters and immersive world made me feel like I had more friends and more of a life than I actually did. Final note: Isn't the music that plays during the fight with Zio awesome? Phantasy Star IV had one of the greatest soundtracks in game history, up there with Resident Evil 2, Sonic 3 & Knuckles, and Killer7...

shit on my way out. so this has to be quick. First! thanks for the info on using the pyschowand like regular items. I had just equipped it to Rune. i'll be back later. EDIT: Genetic You saved me. And well I was thinking about starting PSII and III myself...but wasn't sure if I should or not. I don't think I'm gonna though...not anytime soon. Probably go back to trying to beat Altered Beast and Streets of Rage 3. EDIT2: oh yeah GENETIC! Does Deban only cushion one hit? It looks like it does. I just wanted to confirm this with you....an experienced playe.r EDIT3: I actually haven't listened to Zio's battle music cause I was litening to some records....but most of the battle sounds and even the music in the "ancient civilization" labs are intense! and yeah...they kind of got me hooked. |
