I'm not sure how long the effects of Deban last...all it says is "DFS POWER is UP!!" without specifying whether or not it's for the entire battle or just that round. However, I've found that casting Deban and doing Doubleslashes are pretty much all Rika's good for in this battle. (EDIT: Oh, wait, she's a good healer here too) I've beaten PSIV about 4 or 5 times now...just let me know if you need help again, but only if you're really stuck, because half the fun (for me, anyways) of video games is figuring them out for yourself. Good luck!

^ yeah....I kicked Zio's ass and was playing way past my bedtime last night.
I'm in Dezolis now (after the battle with The Dark Force) and I'm moving along nicely now. |

One thing that I don't think people give the SEGA Genesis enough credit for, is just how fluid, and well-designed the controller's D-Pad is. Easily one of the nicest in the history of game consoles.

Played some Advance Wars: Days of Ruin today for the first time in a while. Finally got a "S" on mission 19, kept messing up on that one for some reason and getting as low as "B"s. Pissed me off, now I'm very happy.

This game is obviously a classic, and very, very fun. I do prefer to play it alone, rather than in the co-op mode though. I find that the enemies enjoy hiding off-screen more when playing with a friend. Secondly, why am I always accidentally grappling player 2 from behind? Am I at fault, or is the game not as seamless as it's hyped to be? What's the point of even having the ability to do that in the programming? Is there some secret to Streets of Rage 2 that I'm missing where that is a useful gameplay aspect? I mean, fuck! |

haha. yes. the endless Sor2 talk. I'm pretty sure this is the first game I've ever beat. As Al Sabbray pointed out, greatest soundtrack (almost) ever. and I'm still trying to beat SoR3 by myself. I need another skilled sor'er |

got some freelance work, so I've been playing Battle Arena Toshinden (PS1), RPG Maker (PS1), Einhander (PS1), Tony Hawk's Pro Skater (PS1), and FFVII (PS1) accordingly.
played some Mega Man X Maverick Hunter (PSP) for recent blog post. Still into my NBA 2K9 season (PS2) and just picked up Limines Plus (PS2) which would make Adam happy if he read this thread anymore. I think he said he doesn't bother.

Monster Hunter Tri (Wii)
Picked it up w/ the classic controller pro bundle for $40. Just starting out, and I'm really impressed by the depth of this so far. I've never played a single Monster Hunter title, but this game had been on my mind for a while. I made my character, Bathory, such a hot, goth, monster hunting slut! Haha Like most RPGs, I'll probably never beat it, but it sure does seem like an awfully good time killer. I'm really glad that I re-purchased a Wii, it's been nothing but an absolute treasure so far. Still need to get Sin & Punishment 2. That's probably what's up next for me. |
