Yeah, shocking decision. Mourinho's post match interview was pathetic. Clutching at straws when he must've known he'd actually been beaten fair and square.
I'll be surprised if Jol survives past today, even though he's probably the best thing about Fulham this season. |

Brilliant. I missed MOTD last night due to having a female over *arches eyebrows seedily*so I've missed all the drama from the weekend. Any other news to tell?

Hoping Nueva Zealanda pulls off a sick upset in Mexico today, but its not likely, with it in Mexico, nobody wins there but Mexico yo.

Friday's the big one for me. Zlatan v Ronaldo. They'll both be obsessed.

Do you get around to seeing it?
Good game, even enough but CRonaldo was the difference maker. Zlatan was pretty quiet really. Although I've seen that happen with him in big games. Portugal just seem like a better team overall than Sweden, though. Was flicking over to the England game every so often. Looks like we were simply outclassed by Chile, who do look excellent. |

Tony Allen looks to be interested in taking his talents to South Beach with Becks and Lebron's MLS venture in Miami

So looks like I'l be missing the friendly tonight due to having a date *thrust*. Meh there are worse things to miss. If Hodgson can't play around and try new things in a friendly when can he?

how come you ingleses are always predicting doom? is it a kind of insurance? (as opposed to, say, the boastful argentinians, who are always proclaiming to be the greatest in the world, but aren't). is your team really as shitty as you say?

Without Robben, Van Persie, (Nigel) de Jong, Sneijder, Vorm etc I kind of expected Holland to receive an arse kicking against Colombia tonight... and that actually seems to be happening at the moment, but not in the way I imagined. (Siem) De Jong and Van der Vaart got kicked off the pitch with injuries and Lens got provocated into a dumb red card. Armero and Aguilar, remember the names for next summer... they mean business.
Sadly not much action from Falcao yet, so instead of watching 10-men Holland try to defend a meaningless 0-0 in the second half I'm now switching between Sweden-Portugal and France-Ukraine. edit: France 2-0 up. I guess we might get to see Ribery at the World Cup after all. Ronaldo - Zlatan 2-0 on aggregate... guess I can just watch France now. No, that's not offside. No, that's not a handball. |

Yeah, I've switched to France Ukraine. Definitely want France to qualify.
Very tense 2nd half. Quote:
I think a lot of us enjoy it, in a masochistic kind of way. Quote:
They're definitely not good. Depends what the expectations are though. To me we're a group stage team that could get lucky and make it to the quarter finals. Either way we'll lose as soon as we meet a real quality team. Quote:
I never knew that about them. EDIT: Ew, Zlatan's just scored. Switching back to Portugal-Sweden |
