oh man, it's taken me the best of three hours to record my mix, the desk is a sprawling mass of cables, records, cds and a turntable. my computer crashed a total of 5 times, and i've taken up 400mbs of precious disk space.
but my mix is finished, it's uploading now, and badongo says it's got half an hour left. what a lot of fuss, but you have no idea of the great sense of fulfillment i'm experiencing right now. i spose it's the warm fuzzy glow of selling my soul to the digital age once and for all.
it's a 50 minute mp3 file and it's about 56 mbs.
not bad going i'd say. anyway, here is the tracklist. i'll post the file tomorrow because i'm going to sleep in a minute...

Believe it or not, I have no means of putting sound onto my computer at all, unless it's a burnt CD. I'm going to be translating all my tapes into digital format at some point in the next few months, so I'll head back here with a mix then. I am a complete techy retard.

I'm sure I've explained this before, but I have a strange curse with electricity. Never been electrocuted, but in every job I've had in the last 4 years, the computer I've been using has had to be replaced within a month. Friend's electric gizmos have been known to suddenly commit suicide in my hands. So I generally try to respect computers by not involving myself with them too much. But I'll endeavour to at some point.

Do you have this soundtrack? There was one song I was trying to find called This World Is New To Me. The song was played in the movie in the hospital when all the babies were sitting in their little beds. The song has Beck, Patti Smith, Jakob Dylan. A pretty impressive line-up I must say!
