It's on planet mu, as is most of his stuff. I d/l'ed a leak, but I'm probably going to buy it, I actually buy most of his stuff. It took me a few listens to really get into it but now I love it. It's REALLY, uh... "acidy". Here's a (admittingly somewhat confusing) link either way: http://narod.ru/disk/6885559000/f-mp3.rar.html (it's all in a different language, but just type in the numbers, click the green button, then click the link on the next page) |

I'm glad I'm not the only one who was blown away by FOR ALL I CARE. I think "Comfortably Numb" and "Radio Cure" are total standouts. And I love the f'd up tempo changes in "Lithium."

Will mention more albums when i get home, but honestly my front runner for album of the year at this point is Neige's new album Amesoeurs -S/T. If people on this forum don't listen to this album, I might have to quit/never return.

All I see are a bunch of names. I never know what new albums to listen to unless it is a band I'm already familiar with.

The simplest thing to do is just look up some of these artists on last.fm and if they sound interesting to you, check 'em out.

i just buy stuff from certain labels i like or something i have read from another source. i did that pre internet and i still do that. i almost never listen to anything before i buy it.
plus, i'm using my roommates computer so i can't download anything. soon i'll have the internet on my phone, but that doesn't help me music wise. |

Yeah, never paid much attention to Emeralds until this pretty unanimous endorsement. Stunning stuff.

Yeah, they're great! Someone somewhere is going to disagree with me, but it reminds me of a cross between Japanther and the Coachwhips. Who are two bands I LOVE, so.... The production, the fun keyboard farts, the simplicity, the awesome melodies, the energy, etc. Just really great stuff. One of the bands worth all the hype... to me. |

I must admit I never really understood the amount of hate against Franz Ferdinand. I mean they're certainly not geniuses, but I like them. I enjoyed the first one, the second was still good, and though I was expecting to hate the new one because come on, three albums of just the same thing can get really boring, well, it still works imo. A pleasant album - not really more, but not really less. |
