If you like Jörg Buttgereit's films, Sex Murder Art is a great book to get.
It provides both a detailed analysis of his films, including excellent synopses, but also a wealth of back-ground material. He gets to grips not only with the films, but also with the disparate (and occasionally desperate) cast and crew. The book is extremely well-produced and the photographs and graphics serve to give a taste not only of the films but also on the milieu that they traverse. I bought it here

death race 2000 is a great film.
if you notice in kill bill the car that bill drives in the scene where he goes to see buck is the same one he drives in death race. useless bit of trivia for you.
