Their lyrics are actually quite funny, sometimes. I can't be bothered finding examples because I know you don't care either way. |

I wouldn't consider Mr. Bungle [especially not "California"] a rock album, but glad to see them mentioned!
Anyway, the following 10 albums that fit more in a rock genre never get old: wire - pink flag thinking fellers union local # 282 - mother of all saints metallica - and justice for all minutemen - what makes a man start fires butthole surfers - hairway to steven the wipers - over the edge the fall - grotesque (after the gramme) captain beefheart - ice cream for crow polvo - today's active lifestyles pavement - slanted and enchanted (I'VE GOT! ONE HOLY LIFE TO LIVE!) |

'Fuckin With My Head' is a great rock song, and 'Mutherfuker' is unmistakeably hardcore.. but I know what you mean. What genre could you put this album into, though? It chops and changes far too much to be anything in particular. |

Fantasma is a rock album, it spand the full spectrum of rock, from early beach boys harmony, to thrash, to loud abrasive rock. Point is NOT a rock album in that sense.
