Nice meeting you at Graag Traag, Jef!
How did the filming go? Your highlights?

mine:

Charlemagne Palestine & Tony Conrad were really impressive, except for Palestine's voice every now and then. To my surprise I didn't see him drinking the whole day... until after his performance, when he was walking around with 2 glasses of wine to make up for the lost time.

Paul Labrecque with Louise Landes Levi in the artspace sounded really great (could've done without the poetry beforehand though)

Sylvester Anfang II (only the second time I've seen them)

Steve Gunn & John Truscinski (hoping to catch them again in Den Haag tomorrow)

I liked Charalambides too, but there was something odd. Christina didn't look good to me. She was shaking constantly and I was wondering if she had a cold. It's been a few years since I last saw them, but her voice was much different on Saturday... maybe it was just illness.

Nice venue as well (both of them actually).

Hey twas nice meeting you too. I think we share about the same highlights.
Also liked ralph white although his set was a bit too long.

The filming went pretty good, still have to check all my footage. I'm also gathering some more footage and trying to work something out. Maybe a small compilation dvdr with above artists, I'll see what comes out of it.

All in all a great fest. Maybe part three next year?

Agreed about Ralp White. I liked that for a song or 5, but after that I was dozing off, also because it was really warm inside that place. I'll definitely try to be there again next year.
Gunn/Truscinski again really good last night.

I saw Donald Miller solo acoustic a few years ago, and he has an LP of that material out as well, pretty cool stuff. I also saw him play table-top guitar (heavy use of objects/devices) in a noise/improv band called Death Posture (if I remember correctly) that accompanied butoh or butoh-inspired dancers/performance artists.
