^^^Thanks so much, Rob. Lafayette and Baton Rouge are two cities I wish I knew more about. I was in Lafayette two weeks ago and would have loved to stop at this place. I will make sure to do so next time!

Last night at The Stage diner I ordered a grilled cheese with bacon and tomato, not the healthiest thing but I needed some comfort. I was thinking this is the ultimate grilled cheese, but I realized as I ate I could probably put a fried egg on this and it would be really good. I mentioned it to Andre the grill meister and he said he did it all the time. |

There is also a Daquiri Hut, drive through, that sells a daquiri called Liquid Marijuana, and it is, (according to my wife since I do not drink) extremely "relaxing"....

I love a fried egg on a sammich! I once had a Juicy Lucy (a burger with a wad of cheese inside the patty) which also had a fried egg on top. It was TOOOO MESSSYYYYYYYYY delicious, but I left feeling like I needed a fucking shower.

Fried egg on a hamburger is a special treat. There is a place here in the BMT that serves them up on jalapeno cheese buns that are baked fresh daily. Hand cut french fries with the best homemade ranch dressing to dip them in......think I may pick one up tonight for my dinner while I watch NCAA basketball.

Grinder is a New England area name.
the best sub I ever had was in Philadelphia. It seems all there is to eat in Philly are sandwiches or italian food.
