why does NYCG+F have one? i am baffled.

i have the clash's london calling on elpee, and there's a square sticker on the front (between paul simonon's legs) that reads "THIS ALBUM INCLUDES LYRIC CONTENT WHICH MAY BE OFFENSIVE TO SOME MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC." predating the parental advisory square, perhaps?

it was a self-regulating thing adopted by the record labels to stop the government from regulating it themsselves because tipper gore is a dumb fucking whorecunt who got scared that her daughter was listening to prince records.

Record shop can put stickers on any records! (any stickers by the way, like -20%, -30%, buy 5 records and get a free hamburger, whatever..)
But the PA label can't be removed, do you have an opinion about this ?

thats not true, most of the non-rap albums I have bought have had parental advisory stickers on them..

when I was a kid in middle school some stores wouldn't sell me PA stickered discs without an 'adult' around.. but I believe the PA stickers are up to the discretion of the seller..

and the real question is why are all the rap cds in security devices but all the other albums are not? if anything, white people steal waayy more than other folks.. for instance..

and shall we forget..

I don't recall having seen PA stickers on any records (only printed one).
